Aya (Tanner x Cordie) 2x High in Trials and Detective Q #30!

October 6, 2026

Another great weekend for Team Aya!

At the Scent Work Club of the San Gabriel Foothills (SWCSGF) trial, Aya added some impressive accomplishments to an already remarkable résumé:

Master High in Trial
Master High in Trial Combined
30th Detective Q

With scheduling conflicts between Aya’s and Bruce’s runs, Sebastian asked friend and classmate, Kuko, to step in and handle Aya for her Master searches. It was Kuko’s first time running Master-level elements—and in temperatures reaching 105°F! Kuko and Aya cruised through their searches, qualifying in every run and earning Master High in Trial.

Sebastian then took Aya into the Handler Discrimination search, where they qualified and secured the Master High in Trial Combined award.

And the cherry on top: Aya earned her 30th Detective Q, another tremendous milestone in one of Scent Work’s most challenging classes.

These latest honors are Aya's 10th & 11th High in Trial awards, and her 3rd in Scent Work.

Congratulations to Sebastian, Aya, and Kuko on an exceptional trial!
